Anna Kristin Peterson-McCarthy & Carousel Company “Valged ööd / White Nights”

Inspireeritud F.Dostojevski romaanist “Valged ööd”

Klassika. Tants. Tsirkus. Draama. Füüsiline teater. Verbaalne teater. Muusika.

Vaatluse all on loo jutustamine kasutades erinevaid etenduskunsti vorme. Kunstnikud on dialoogis

Oodatud mees siiski saabub, Nastenka jätab Unistaja.
Kahe inimese vaheline aus-ebaaus romanss.

Etendus esietendub 2019 sügisel.

Inspired by a novel by F.Dostojevski

Classics. Dance. Circus. Drama. Physical theatre. Verbal theatre. Music.

Under observation is telling a story through multiple forms of performance art. Artists are
communicating with words, moves and musicinstruments.

Performance artists with circus- and theatreeducation have the urge to see how to bring a old
classic on stage using the fullpotential of our instruments.

Circusartist is also allowed to create music.
And a stories can also be told with dance.

And all these tools can be used to communicate with stagepartner, audience and tell a story.

“White Nights” by Dostojevski is a beautiful lovestory that supports the saying that there’s magic in
simplicity.

“White Nights” is a story of a Dreamer and a girl Nastenka, who meet in St.Petersburg during the
white nights. Nastenka is waiting for her old lover who is supposed to be back in town but is not
contacting her. Nastenka gets tired of waiting, gives up on the man she is longing for and falls for
the Dreamer. The long lost lover returns, Nastenka leaves the Dreamer.
And honest yet so dishonest romance between two people.

The play premiers in autumn 2019.
