Apply to the Bachelor Programme in Circus by 1 February 2017

unnamedThe Bachelor Programme in Circus is aimed at persons who want to work as artists in the field of contemporary circus. As a student you will work with artistic expressions within the many different forms of circus art and also meet other forms of physical expressions such as dance or improvisation. You will obtain the opportunity to explore your own discipline and develop your personal artistic language.

Alongside your circus discipline training you will attend courses in choreography, directing, artistic processes and entrepreneurship. You will work with performances, interpretation, improvisation and the contact with the audience. The different aspects of creative stage work will be deepened as you continuously explore, create, practise and present artistic projects in different formats.

Contemporary circus can be presented in many different forms and arenas. Our former students work as freelancers, in companies of performers, take part in festivals and other events and have expanded the boundaries for where and how you can present circus. As a contemporary circus artist you will have the opportunity to focus solely on your circus discipline or work in fusion with other art forms. You will have the freedom to work both nationally and internationally, as a soloist or in an ensemble.
